PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS

This is a special painting material (QUALICOAT certificate, the license no. P- 0246) produced and used for finishing works imitating a variety of patterns e.g. wood, marble, granite, etc. The range of the usage of our products is wide: in the building industry, flat design, etc. The painting is resistant to dissolution, as is described in the following paragraph.

The painting is characterized by good extensibility and sateen appearance of a surface. It is also typical for the reason that it is possible to clean oil spots, school-boards markers and colors in spray.

To clean the surface it is possible to use xylen, acetone or mixture of acetone/ ethylacetone and acetone/ethanol mixed in 1:1.

The list of chemicals, which the painting is resistant to:

  • petrol with high petroleum index 25 C x 60 causes no changes
  • petrol unleaded 25 C x 60 causes no changes
  • diesel-oil 25 C x 60 causes no changes
  • ethanol 25 C x 60 causes no changes
  • xylen 25 C x 5 causes no changes
  • mixture 1:1 acethone/ethylacetone 25 C x 5 causes no changes
  • breaks solution Mobil 25 C x 5 causes no changes
  • metylketon, 10 times tested with cotton wool 25 C causes no changes
  • acetone, 10 times tested with cotton wool 25 C causes no changes
  • chlorinehydrogen acid 0,1 N 60 C x 4 h causes no changes
  • hydroxide sodden 0,1 N 60 C x 4 h causes no changes

Outdoor resistance of a painted product decorated in finishing works is in accordance with European norms for parts made of aluminum and used in the building industry.

APPEARANCE

The final painting put on a used (seen) surfaces does not show any place without a painted layer. No color of the original material can be seen. Optic tests under 60 angle and from 3 mm distance does not show any Humps, jogs, blisters, craters, bulge, mat points, scratches or any other defects. Standard GLACE (according to norm ISO 2813 in light under 60 angle) is usually 30 5G. .

PAINTING LAYER THICKNESS (according to norm ISO 2360):

On used (seen) surfaces: minimally 60 micrometers (according to Qualicoat specifications).

ADHESIVITY (according to norm ISO 2409): result = 0.

HARDNESS

x-print according to (according to norm: ISO 2815). minimally 80 with a layer minimally 60 micrometers.

SINKING TEST (according to norm: ISO 1520):

minimally 3 mm

TEST BY FLEXION (according to norm ISO 1519):

the surface does not show any micro-apertures under bending around an 8 mm thorn.*

QUICK TEST OF CORROSION BY KESTERNICH METHOD (according to norm ISO 3231 - 0,2 l SO - 24 cycles):

No more color than 1 mm from the border of a scratch unstick. Also no larger penetration affect does not appear.

RESISTANCE AGAINST ACETOUS ACID SALT SOLUTION SPRAY (according to norm ISO 9227, standard time of a test 1000 hours):

No more color than 1 mm from the border of a scratch unstick.

MACHU TEST (fast variant):

maximal corrosive penetration 0,5 mm from the border of a scratch.

QUICK TEST OF WEATHER INFLUENCE CONDITIONS (specific test for Qualicoat):

Final glare (according to norm: ISO 2813, light under 60 angle): original characteristics: Change of colors (according to norm: ISO 105 B02/94): minimal figures of No 7 index on the blue spectrum.

RESISTANCE TO GROUT (according to norm ASTM D 3260):

It is perfectly suited to the lowest offered requests.

RESISTANCE AGAINST BOILED WATER (tests in pressure vessel):

After 1 hour of testing no lower adhesivity has been recognized, also no drops appeared.

RESISTANCE TO CONSTANT ATMOSPHERIC WATER CONDENSATION (according to norm DIN 50017):

After 1000 hours of exposition no blisters appear, penetration is less than 1 mm from the border of a scratch made with "Adrews cross".

CUTTING - DRILLING - MACHINING

During these mechanical operations no damages appear on the decorated profiles. For the reason of extra hardness of the surface layer of the painting we recommend to cut the material very carefully and use the tools to adjust optimal conditions of cutting the aluminum materials so that there ate no vibrations of the cutting machine.

* Notice: Tests of mechanical characteristics have been carried out on aluminum panels of AA 5005 H 24 class 1 mm thickness (for larger thickness of the material the results of some tests would not be valid).
